Easter 2007 at the Edu-Care Centre:

Easter was celebrated early at the Edu-Care Centre in Big Bend.

Sharing with parents forms a large part of Pre-Primary education for our pupils.

During this weeks Open Day, our pupils shared a fun Craft lesson with their parents. Easter Hats Templates were coloured and very carefully cut out with scissors. With a little help and adjustments from the teachers, our parents proudly wore their "Easter Hats/Bonnets " back to their home and work place.

School closed on Thursday for the Easter weekend holiday, and prior to closing all fifty children took part in an Easter Egg hunt in the gardens and classrooms. Each child ( with a little help ) found two chocolate eggs, their delight was a pleasure to watch.

It was heart-warming to watch the children helping each other and offering to share with their teacher - whom the Easter Bunny had forgotten!
