SOCCER – National team Sihlangu supporters leaving the country from this morning to watch their pride in Durban South Africa this afternoon should be warned that while entrance to the venue is free, it will be open to the first 18 000 people.

Sihlangu plays Bafana Bafana at the Chartsworth Stadium in an international friendly match scheduled for 4pm. According to correspondence obtained from the South African Football Association (SAFA) on Friday, only the first 18 000 people will be allowed to enter the venue after which more spectators will then be barred from entering the venue.

An average drive to Durban from Swaziland takes about four hours and the supporters are advised against leaving the country late.

This is more so because the South Africans so much adore their national team and will definitely fill the stadium to the brim. Other supporters left the country yesterday evening.

National Football Association of Swaziland (NFAS) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederick Mngomezulu could not be reached to make a comment on this as his mobile phone rang unanswered for the better part of on Friday afternoon and evening.

Sihlangu left the country on Thursday afternoon.
